Retaining walls and landscaping walls, different from plants and trees, provide a given function in your landscape. They hold back or retain a hillside, driveway, patio or walkway maintaining a degree of levelness within your landscape. Raising a paver or concrete patio to meet an entrance threshold is another function of a landscape wall.

Boulder Landscape Walls can be constructed from either large rounded boulders or large flat pieces of stone that are typically 6-8" thick. Boulder landscape walls provide a nice natural looking retaining wall to your landscape. They blend very nicely along a creek or in a wooded area. Unlike stone or block retaining walls that can be constructed nearly vertical, large rounded boulder walls are built with more set back. Landscape walls constructed from flat stones or outcroppings can be built vertically and also make nice steps.

Block Retaining Walls are built from pre-cast concrete block with the face of the block being split providing it with a natural or cut stone appeal. Most manufacturers, such as Allan Block, offer classic or tumbled styles as well as different size block giving their landscape walls a more natural stone feel. Block landscape walls can be constructed nearly vertical and are very versatile. Our certified retaining wall installers are experts at constructing landscape walls that are serpentine, tiered and/or patterned and can incorporate just about any style of step into the landscape wall using the same retaining wall block.
